Carol Deys Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Deys of Macedon, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sons, Ronald, Todd and John; her parents, David Johns and Belle Johns; and her brothers, Bobby and David Johns.

She is survived by: her husband Richard W. Deys; her children, Glenn (Cheryl), Paul (Sandy), David (Laurel) and Richard, Jr. (Kylie); her daughter-in-law Shannon Deys; and her grandchildren, Leigha, Glenn Jr., Shaun, Shannon, Jacob, Meghan and Davey.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Carol will be distributed to her favorite charities by her family, checks payable to Richard Deys c/o Lyons National Bank, 359 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502.
