He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his parents, John and Louisa; his brother John; his son Michael (Pat); and his granddaughter Elly.

He is survived by: his sons, David (Shannon), Don (Joanne) and Steve (Beth Anne); his grandchildren, John (Megan), Steve (Sierra), Jessica (Zachary), Jeffrey (Laci), Joey (Fernanda), Mary (Issac), Willy, Katy, Nick (Ryleigh) and Allison (Tommy); and his great grandchildren, John, Jameson, Wesley, James, Milo, Bruce and Joni. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In his own quiet way, he also became something of a philanthropist, donating to nearly every charity that reached out.
