John S. Baehr Obituary
We announce the death of John S. Baehr (Macedon, New York), who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 79. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. John will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew John will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. John’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lida Sewall Baehr and Robert Albert Baehr; and his stepfather Alfred John Guzzetti. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; and his children, Joseph Hermes, Amanda Allen (Brian), Joshua Hermes (Stacey) and Megan Francisco. He is also survived by four grandsons and two granddaughters.
