He is survived by: his children, Sarah Parshall, Russell Rugg (Alina), Christopher Benson (Alexis Dora), Shawn Benson, Marcy Knapp (Steve) and Michelle Duchowny (Rick Moody); his grandchildren, Brett Parshall (Heather), Cassandra Breitsprecher (Andrew), Felicia Parshall, Zachary Parshall, Annie Benson, Xavier Benson, Dean Benson, McKinzie Benson, Chloe Benson, Greggor Benson, Liana Rugg, Colton Duchowny, Mitchell Duchowny, Shony Duchowny, McKenna Niedhammer and Andrew Hann; his great grandchildren, Charles Breitsprecher, Margaret Breitsprecher and James Breitsprecher; his siblings, Miles Rugg (Donna), Keith Rugg (Maria), Lennie Rugg (Donna), Starr Balliet (Elwood), Regina Rugg (Sam Oswald), Kittie Palmer and Nettie Rugg; his stepsiblings, Marie Stivers (Pete Crespo), Patty Artley and David Daggett; and his foster brother Billy Williams.
