He was predeceased by: his father Gerald R. Haines. He is survived by: his mother Frances R. Canfield Haines; his wife Colleen Welsted; his children, Rachael Champlin (Brian), Erin Chrispell (Jared) and Shannon Schumaker (Andy); and his sisters, Joy Burch (Dale) and Pamela Temons (Mark). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
