He was predeceased by : his parent Brenda J. Hoffman; his grandparents, Eugene and Jean Hoffman; his aunt Deb Peterson; and his stepfather Ronald Spittler.

He is survived by : his parent Brenda J. Spittler of Machias; his brother Matthew Spittler (Cortney) of Farmersville; his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Alayna, Laurhyn and Brayden; his pet Chloe; and his close friend Josh Franklin. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
