He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jerald Smith and Bernadine Smith; his brother Mark; his sons, Tyler Smith (Chelsey) of Hamburg and Kyle Smith of Arcade; his granddaughters, Brienne of Hamburg and Maren of Hamburg; his extended family, Ciara of Machias, Chelsea of Delevan, Cody and Jackson of Delevan; his nephews, Colby Smith (Kendra) of Holland, Travis Smith (Miranda) of Machias and Corey Smith (Britney) of Machias; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trinity Smith of Holland, Willow Smith of Holland, Brayden Smith of Holland, Levi Smith of Holland, Noah Smith of Holland, Lane Smith of Machias, Max Smith of Machias, Alex Smith of Machias, Calvin Smith of Machias and Oliver Smith of Machias; his aunt Ern; and his pets, Copper and Willie.
