He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank P. Brown and Elise G. Scott Brown; his wife Arvona Card; his granddaughter Alicia; his great grandchild Jake; and his sister Janet Horning.
He is survived by: his children, Monica "Sue" Kessler (Bruce), Martin W. Brown (Maria) and Mary L. Laird (Donald); his grandchildren, Joshua, Jason, Justin, Alex, Derrek, Dallas, Ashton and Devin; his great grandchildren, Jack, Kenadee, Vera, Hunter and Gracelyn; and his brother Robert Brown (Isabel).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home (7 N Main St, Franklinville, NY 14737).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Machias Fire Department, 9548 Main St, Machias, NY 14101.
