As Louis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Louis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Louis leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles DesJardins and Anna Marvin DesJardins; and his siblings, George DesJardins, Daniel DesJardins and Cordelia Cossette.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Day; his sons, Franklin DesJardins (Debra) of Beaver Dam, WI and Louis F. DesJardins Jr. of Tacoma, WA; his granddaughters, Brittany Engleking and Rachel Welke; and his siblings, Nora Link (Stuart) of Hubbardsville, Charles DesJardins of California and Joseph DesJardins of Rome. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
