It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anthony Passafiume of Mahopac, New York, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenic Passafiume and Francesca Passafiume (Campania); and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his children, Dominick (Marisa) of Shrub Oak, NY, Rosa Conelli (Peter) of Mahopac and Mary Bianco (Michael) of Carmel, NY; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Joy, Matthew, Katie, Emma, Julia and Christian.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (692 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (221 E Lake Blvd, Mahopac, NY 10541). An entombment was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at the Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530).
Family and friends are making donations in memory of Anthony to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, a charity that was dear to Anthony's heart.
