We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2024, at the age of 99, Catherine DeCandia of Mahopac, New York, born in Manhattan, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Graffeo and Nettie Graffeo (Currao); her husband Morris DeCandia of Mary's Church; and her siblings, Joseph, Salvatore Graffeo, Faye Alberti, Gloria Sorola, Mary Fundaro and Carmella Nieroda.
She is survived by : her children, Antoinette "Annette" Nicastro (Carmine) of Mahopac and Michael DeCandia (Lisa Buck) of Portland, ME; her siblings, Thomas Graffeo, Gusianna Savoca and Bea Manaci; her grandchildren, Kerri, Debra, Douglass and Jake; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Chase, Drew and Kayla. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
