She was born in the Bronx on August 26, 1966, the daughter of John P. and Norma (Rebolini) Mangi. Claudia enjoyed hiking, motorcycle rides, boating and shopping with her daughters. She was happiest at the beach and looked forward to trips to Cape Cod with her family each year. In May of 1990 she married Alfonso DiFusco on the beach in Jamaica.
Claudia and Alfonso renewed their vows several years later at a Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac. Family was the most important part of Claudia's life and she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife and mom. In addition to Alfonso, she is survived by her daughters, Alexandra, Victoria and Gabrielle and her sisters, Debbie Russo (Greg), Joan Friedman (Fred) and Michele Abate (John).
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, John Mangi. Visiting will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 5 at 1 pm at St. John the Evangelist Church with interment to follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
