With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George J. Wright (Mahopac, New York), born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on March 18, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Wright and Mary Wright (McInerney); his wife Irene Mocerino (James Church); his children, Chris (Donna), George (Meg), Michael Kenneth (June), Fred (Deborah) and Marissa (Bill); his siblings, Lorraine, Beryle, Joyce and Kevin; and his son Kevin Frederick. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of George may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
