He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Tennant and Egbert Austin; his former wife Sybil Young; his children, Hugh (Marlene), Diana "Rosie" (Daniel), Orbyn, Dahlia (Robert "Bob"), Zennette (late Mark) and Dave; his niece Audrey; his wife Ida Blagrove; and his great grandchildren, D'Angelo, Brianna, Dauvinee and Jared.
He is survived by: his siblings, Orbyn Emmanuel, Grace-Ann and Audley; his children, Maurine, Michael (Alecia), Mark and Marion (Paul); his son-in-law Bob; his great-nephew Shawn; and his grandchildren, Wendy, Monique, Kareena, Erik, Brian, Danielle, Kelsie, Zandria, Caitlin, Robert, Mark Thomas Jr., Raquel, D'Geneil, Dwayne, Yanique, Mark Austin Jr., Paul and Pablo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (692 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541). A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
