Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Rita may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her brother Louis Jr. (Joann); and her brother-in-law John Buttacavoli. She is survived by: her siblings, Arthur Ballato (Peggy) of Pinehurst, NC, Marion Buttacavoli of New City, NY, Carol Guarcello (Bob) of Somers, NY and Marilyn Grella (Phil) of Merrick, NY. She is also survived by her eight nieces and nephews, and 14 grandnieces and nephews.
In Rita's memory, do something kind for someone who could use it, visit the beach and admire a lighthouse, or make a donation to a charity that supports children. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Greater New Jersey and St. Jude's Children's Hospital were two of her favorites.
