He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Pla and Ramona Arroyo Pla. He is survived by: his children, William Jr. (Norma) of Miami Beach, FL and Rebecca Alvarez (Christopher) of Mahopac; and his grandchildren, Angelic, Nina, Jonathan Pla, Sofia, Ava and Isabella Alvarez.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (692 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (221 E Lake Blvd, Mahopac, NY 10541). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the St. Raymond's Cemetery.
