She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Trombley and Laura Trombley (Bushey); and her husband Bernard J. Whalen of Edmund's Church. She is survived by: her children, Bernie Whalen (Kathy), Donna Whalen Matkoski, Brenda Wood (William), Randy Whalen (Cathy) and Beulah; her grandchildren, Melissa Whalen, Barrie Whalen (Liz), Corrie Whalen (Becky), Matthew Matkoski (Erica Edminster), Brynn Matkoski (Matt Maybeck), Mallory Willsea (Grant), Marci Wood (Matt Marini), Meaghan Wood, Ryan Whalen and Brendan Whalen; her great grandchildren, Madyson, Easton, Bailey, Noelle, Finn, Lincoln, Rylie, Eleanor and Beulah; her brother Leonard Trombley; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Matthews, Walter Whalen, Richard Whalen, Jane Barber Lalonde, Kay Whalen and Molly Whalen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Church (11 Church St, Malone, NY 12953).
