She was predeceased by : her father Lawrence DeLosh; her spouse Francis Gokey of Malone, NY; and her brother Larry DeLosh. She is survived by : her son David Gokey (Jennifer Gokey) of Pittsfield, MA; her brother Barry DeLosh of Liverpool, NY; her son John Gokey (Mary Ann Gokey) of Malone, NY; her grandchildren, Jason Gokey of Rome, NY, Michael Gokey of Malone, NY, Andrew Woodward of Constable, NY, Samantha Mindermann (Bryan Mindermann) of Pittsfield, MA, Elizabeth Gokey of Pittsfield, MA and Nichole Engel of Massena, NY; and her great-childrens, Mason Gokey, Kayden Engel, Denali Woodward and Kaya Woodward.

Dawn was also involved in multiple organizations and volunteer work including, Notre Dame Church, Altar Rosary Society, Hospice, RSVP, the soup kitchen, Ladies of the Elks, Alice Hyde Hospital Auxiliary, was a long-term member of the Malone Golf Club, and most importantly spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren and grand-puppy Sadie May.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to be sent to either Hospice of the North Country Alice Ballard Fund, or Malone Adult Center.
