He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Gillette and Exina Gillette (Miner); his wife Alice Marie Disotelle; his siblings, Olive Kavanaugh, Ida Cook and Clarence Gillette Jr.; his brothers-in-law, Leon Miller and Frank Kavanaugh; and his niece Karen Kavanaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Kimball Gillette Jr. (June Rice) of Horseheads, NY, Stephen Gillette (Karen) of Walkertown, NC, Suzanne Landry (Gillette) of Malone and Michael Gillette (Jennifer) of Chapel Hill, TN; his grandchildren, Daniel (Stephanie Gillette), Ethan (Sharra Gillette), Adam Gillette (Dakota), Kristen Vihn (Gillette), Hoai-Quoc Vinh, Nicole Gillette, Joel (Kaylee Landry), Jessica Rottier (Landry), Curtis Rottier and Curtis Landry (Holly); his siblings, Barbara Miller, Donald Gillette (Nancy) and Lloyd Jeffery Gillette (Lucille); and his siblings-in-law, Anne Gillette, Rosalie Maither (Ernie), Martha Latrielle and Charles Disotelle (Donna). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
