Richard C. Genaway Obituary
We announce the death of Richard C. Genaway in Malone, New York, who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 91. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Genaway and Glenna Genaway (Jones); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Annette Childs; his sons, Kevin (Donna) of Parishville, Barry (Mary Lou) of Darien Center and Tim (Cindy); his sister Alice Schaffer of Statesboro, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Ken, Matthew, Alesha and Shawna; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Ariana, Jaxon, William, Josie, Everett and Stella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cooks Corners Wesleyan Church or the Alice Center in Malone.
