He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth J. Karleskent and Jean E. Karleskent (Reynolds); his son Joel; and his siblings, Robert and Laurel Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Judith (Boyer); his children, James (Erica) of Hampton Tennessee, Ellen Cyr (Edward) of Malone, Jennifer Cooley (James) of Malone and Aaron (Tammie) of Malone; and his sister Carolyn Lavendoski (Kerry) of South Carolina. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
