He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge John Dunne and Sally Dunne. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Dunne; his children, Kelly Dunne and Teddy Dunne; and his siblings, Sarah (Carey Loftus), Susan (Richard Nicolello) and Thomas (late Georgianne).

Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairchild Funeral Chapel (1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St Mary's Church (1300 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those looking to support donate to HuskyTHON to raise funds for the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.
