It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ria Meade (Manhasset, New York), who passed away at the age of 69, on June 4, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Ria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary and George; and her brothers, Jim, Jerry and Chris.
She is survived by: her brother Tom (Bess); her sister-in-law Bless; and her sister Anne.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairchild Funeral Chapel (1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the St Mary's Church (1300 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her honor to The Seeing Eye in Morristown, New Jersey.
