It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adeline Medalia of Manhattan, New York, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Alexander H. Hirschfeld, MD; her husband Nahum Medalia; and her son Robert M. A. Hirschfeld, MD. She is survived by: her son Lawrence A. Hirschfeld; her grandchildren, Julie, Alexandra, Tessa, Bruno, Theodore and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Oscar and Micah; and her stepchildren, Alice, Litty and Taizz Medalia.
