He was predeceased by: his wife Dea; and his significant other Dorothea. He is survived by: his daughters, Tavie and Kirsten; his sister-in-law Joan Nissen; and his son-in-law Sean Murphy.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Chapel (180 W 76th St, New York, NY 10023).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New York Public Library.
