He was predeceased by: his parents, Ricardo Maldonado and Maxima Cano Maldonado. He is survived by: his wife Blanca Flor Sinarahua; and his children, Luis, Sandra, Marcela, Richard, Elena and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grand daughter.
