She was predeceased by: her parents, Margie Puglisi and Dominick Butingaro. She is survived by: her husband Warren Richard-Peter Whittaker; her sons, John Battaglia and Steve Battaglia; and her granddaughter Rachel Battaglia. She is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred Hunter's Funeral Home (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Nativity Catholic Church (5220 Johnson St, Hollywood, FL 33021). A committal service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:40 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024).
