John VanIderstine Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate John VanIderstine (Manlius, New York), whose life came to an end on September 20, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John VanIderstine to show support.

As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Doris (Worthington); and his sister Barbara Holden. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Bieling); his siblings, Julia Cattanea, Robert and Peter; and his daughters, Heather Bateman (Donald) and Laurel Flanagan (Michael). He is also survived by five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter.

The family kindly requests donations to Operation Northern Comfort or the CNY Land Trust.
