Mary Lou Pritchett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Lou Pritchett (Manlius, New York), born in Syracuse, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eric Schardt and Lucille Schardt; her husband John; her sister Kathleen Candela (Frank); and her sisters-in-law, Carol Grobe, Donna Schardt and Marjorie Tabechian.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marika Pritchett-Casey (Paul Casey) and Suzi Pritchett (Matthew Sidle); her granddaughter Zazie Lucille Pritchett-Sidle; and her siblings, James Schardt (late Donna) and Rosemarie Pakenas (Larry). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newell-Fay Manlius Chapel (8171 Cazenovia Rd, Manlius, NY 13104). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Food Bank of Central New York or The Syracuse Orchestra.
