He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smith and Virginia Smith; and his brothers, Ronald and Fred "Duffer" Smith. He is survived by: his wife Irene Smith; his children, Audrey Liberti (Jason) and Todd Smith (Linda); his grandchildren, Ava, Nathan Liberti, Alanna Nyholm and Savanna Smith; and his sisters, Linda Randall (Jim) and Loretta Felker (Charles). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery (4069 Howlett Hill Rd, Syracuse, NY 13215).
