With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brendan T. Sammon of Marcellus, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Sammon (McCarthy); his son Joseph (Bridget); and his siblings, John, Michael, William, Mary and Joe.
He is survived by: his sons, John (Carolyn), Brian (Denise), Michael (Jennifer) and David (Kimberly); and his brother Desmond Sammon (Mary). He is also survived by grandchildren, 1 great grandson and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward J. Ryan Funeral Home (3180 Bellevue Ave, Syracuse, NY 13219). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (216 N Lowell Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Brendan's memory may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
