David G. Schoeneck Sr. Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of David G. Schoeneck Sr. (Marcellus, New York). David, born on May 10, 1932, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Schoeneck and Ferdinand Schoeneck; and his daughter Mary. He is survived by: his wife Therese Sharpe; his children, David Jr. (Jodi), Thomas (Christen), Margaret (Carl) and Stephen (Kristin); his grandchildren, Brandon, Mary, Davy, Alex, Noah (Martha) of Caitlyn, CJ, Jessica (Elizabeth), Nicholas (Megan), Shelby, Justin and Julia; his brother-in-law Keith Hart; and his close friend Bob Hunt. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Church (1865 State Rt. 80, Otisco, NY 13108-1226). A Mass was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Camillus Fund Development (https://st-camillus.org), 813 Fay Road, Syracuse, NY 13219, where David received wonderful care at the KB rehabilitation unit in May of 2026.
