He was predeceased by: his father Mason Sherman; his wife Betty Kisil Sherman; his mother Beatrice Hale Sherman; his brother Roger Sherman; and his son Thomas Kisil Sherman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Sherman and Lynne Walter; his grandchildren, Kathleen Walter, Brian Walter and Erin Rotondi; his sister-in-law Beverly Noble; and his nieces and nephews, David Ryan, Bruce Ryan, Warren Noble, Jr., Andrew Sherman, Edward Sherman, Nancy Engle, Lisa Coffey, Julie Kearns and Katie Galbato. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
