Peter J. DeRito Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 7, 2026, at the age of 81, Peter J. DeRito of Marcellus, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Peter shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Peter farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Charles and Arleen DeRito. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen DeRito (Neuman); his siblings, Robert DeRito of Port Chester, NY and Elaine Maiellaro of Ocala, FL; his sons, Keith DeRito (April) of Bremerton, WA and Kenneth DeRito (Marcie) of Camillus; and his grandchildren, Georgia, Declan and Riley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of Marcellus Park, in honor of Pete's lifelong connection to his community.
