Richard will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Richard is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Richard’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Gillani and Luella "Joann" Gillani Zins (Brownrigg); and his brother Ronald Gillani. He is survived by: his wife Angela Gillani (DiBiasio); his son Richard J Gillani II (Mara) of Burbank, CA; his granddaughter Anna Gillani; and his sister Charlene Berry (Dick). He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (1 W Main St, Marcellus, NY 13108). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
