He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ballard and Regina Ballard; his stepfather John Adams; and his sisters, Vicki and Penny.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Molchanoff (George) of Cleveland, Ann Marie Ballard (Doug Volcko) of Marcellus, Cindy Massett (David) of Rome and Paul of Cortland; his grandchildren, Shaun (Nicole), Katrina (Jacob Bassage), Madelyn and Brandon; and his brother Mark (Linda) of Thornton, CO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
