It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diane G. Canter of Marcy, New York, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gee and Agnes Gee (Blair); her children, Charles G. Canter, Frank G. Canter and Mary Agnes Canter; and her sister Marlene Letner.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Ognibene (Peter), Diane Hotaling (Steven), Anne Bastian (Tom), Timothy Canter (Jana), Melissa Gauger (Michael) and Matthew Canter (Tanya); her daughter-in-law Maribeth Canter; her grandchildren, William, Charles, Jennifer Canter, Daniel, Michael, Brian Hotaling, Michelle Canter, Heather Comito, Joshua Bastian (Ana), Shannon Ringler (Devin), Christina Pisano and Rachel Gauger; and her sisters-in-law, Katie Graff and Holly Canter. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dimbleby Funeral Homes - Whitesboro (40 Main St, Whitesboro, NY 13492). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Paul's Church (16 Park Ave, Whitesboro, NY 13492).
