She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Stone and Vera Stone; her husband Alvin Smith; her daughter Brenda J. Gorton (Smith); and her siblings, Raymond, Theodore, Peggy and Ethel.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry A. Coons; her grandsons, Arthur G. Coons III and Dylan C. Gorton; her great grandchildren, Emilia G. Coons and Juliana K. Coons; and her son-in-law Charles W. Gorton (Jodi). She is also survived by 7 step children, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bond Funeral Home (1614 Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY 12306). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
