With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen K. Powers of Marietta, New York, who passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Powis and Margaret Powis (Fasano); her husband John J. Powers; and her siblings, Roger, Bob, Jack, David and Mary.
She is survived by: her siblings, Michael, Katherine, Margaret and Bernadette; her children, John (Olga), Edward, Michael (Carey) and Mary (Bob); her grandchildren, Mary, Julie, Katie, John, Kevin, Colin, Daniel, Dennis and Sarah; and her great grandchildren, John, Boden and Adelaide.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to All Saints Church or Hospice of CNY.
