He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Brownlie and Jean Brownlie; his in-laws, Salvatore and Enis Vaccaro; his brother Ronald Brownlie; and his brother-in-law David Vaccaro Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Marietta Brownlie; his sons, Jason Brownlie (Nicole) and Gavin Jr. Brownlie (Danelle); his grandchildren, Emma (Anthony Peluso), Gage, Gavin III, Peyton and Alexandra; his sister Isabel McCaffery (Thomas) of Columbus, OH; and his sister-in-law Maryann Vaccaro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and friends.
