Phyllis (Filomena) Setta Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis (Filomena) Setta of Marietta, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Phyllis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Phyllis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guiseppe DiGeorge and Pasqualina DiGeorge; her husband John Tyler Setta, Sr.; and her siblings, John, Mary and Pat.
She is survived by: her children, John Setta, Jr. (Jennifer) and Margaret Manthey (Brian); and her grandsons, Tyler (Jessica) and Shane (Alex). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, dear friends, and her church family.
