She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Consuello Jefferson and George Franklin Jefferson; and her sisters, Lydia Hawkins, Hilda Jefferson, Palmer, Ruth Foote and Sonja Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Terry, Paul and Patricia; and her sister Wali Ali. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
