He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Halstead and Ola Halstead (Hartle); his wife Irma; and his brothers, Reverend Kenneth, Jack, Gordon and Gary Halstead.
He is survived by: his sons, Frank Halstead (Deborah Balliet) of Macedon, NY, Terry Halstead (Cindy Hurlburt) of Palmyra, NY and Bryan Halstead (AprylLindley) of Richmond, VA; and his sister-in-law Patricia (Jack). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Church of Marion (3848 N Main St, Marion, NY 14505). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
