He is survived by : his children, Whitney Bowerman (Steven Mateo), Tanya Hasseler (Steve), Christopher Bowerman and James Bowerman (Anna); and his grandchildren, Donavyn, Darryn Mateo, James Jr., Nathaniel Bowerman, Sophia, Sienna Hasseler and Candice Bowerman.
