With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erminda South (Marlboro, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 16, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose DiMaria and Andrew DiMaria. She is survived by: her children, Ron, Rosalind Prainito of Danbury, CT, AnnMarie, Jim Melley of Wappinger Falls, NY, Jeff and Nikk of Putnam Valley, NY; and her grandchildren, Ronnie Prainito (Theresa Morgan), Makenzie, Matt Fowler, Maddison, Mario Zeppetelli, Robert Prainito (Alyssa Barrese), James Melley, Aiden South, Zachary South, Amelia South and Kyler South.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the DiDonato Funeral Home (1290 US-9W, Marlboro, NY 12542). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
