He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Aurigemma and Ambrosia Aurigemma (Rinaldi); his granddaughter Gabriella; and his siblings, Felicia Vinciguerra (Anthony) (Dolly), Pasquale (Pat), Anthony Aurigemma, Speranza (Flo), Affuso (James), Vincenza (Vee), Defabio (Joseph), Julia DeFazio (Dominic), Stephen Aurigemma (Lucy), Andrew Aurigemma (Shirley), Rita Pucino and Rosemarie Graziosi (George).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth (Barry); his son James Aurigemma Jr. (Monica Morano) of Essex Junction, VT.; and his grandchildren, Melissa Aurigemma (Ben Gelb), Joseph Pedi, Vincent Pedi (Lee-Anne Parker), Kaleigh Gammons, Audrey Gammons, Caroline Aurigemma, Vincent Aurigemma and Rebecca Aurigemma.
