He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. DePew Jr. and Joyce D. Wynkoop; his brother Kent DePew; his grandparents, Gladys May Hoyle, Howard K. Wynkoop, Ethel Sutton and William DePew Sr.; his father-in-law Robert Dunham; his sister-in-law Sherry Dunham; his great-niece Molly DePew; and his friend Steven Gale.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle DePew (Dunham) of Modena; his children, Diana Philpott (Michael "Bootsie") of Mechanicville, Kent DePew of Modena, Ashley Cervini of Troy and Katie Haight of Utica; his brothers, Todd DePew (Bobbie Ann) of Summit and Dean DePew Sr. (MaryAnn) of Modena; and his mother-in-law Martha Dunham of Highland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
