With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael L. Bascomb of Maryland, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bascomb and Marion Bascomb (Rickard); his former wife Bobbi Bascomb; his children, Lacy and Tony Bascomb; his brothers, Robert, Louis and Richard Bascomb; and his stepdaughter Cheryl Lynn Snyder.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Bascomb (Manchester); his son James Bascomb (Danielle Ferguson); his grandchildren, Lauren J. Bascomb of Ronan, M. D, Lily Ann Bascomb, Ellelouise Pearl Bascomb Rice, Isabella Bascomb and Alex Dilmandes; his children, Nicole Strobeck, Stacey Dugger, Chris Spano and Bill Spano; his grandchildren, Tylor, Ayla, Miah, Bryn, Zan, Kane, William Jr. Spano, Allie and Madison Dugger; his great grandchildren, Sawyer Spano and Mia Stefanacci; his siblings, Paul Bascomb, Kathleen Moore (Michael), Connie Elsensohn and Colleen Benson; and his nieces, Phyllis Marie Snyder and Denise Nicole Snyder.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eagles Club (159 Legion Dr, Cobleskill, NY 12043). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
