With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcel E. Fakury (Massapequa Park, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Fakhoury and Minerva Fakhoury; and his brothers, Maurice and Michele. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Fakury; his children, Carolyn Fakury (Charbel Tannous), Michelle Awad (Ray Awad), Elias Fakury (Carolina Fakury) and Jiries Fakury (Juju); and his grandchildren, Josephina, Nicholas, Kristina, Marcel, Santino and Silvana.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel (4980 Merrick Rd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. James R. C. Church (80 Hicksville Rd, Seaford, NY 11783). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
