He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Egan and Thomas Egan. He is survived by: his sisters, Karen Pettinger and Amy McGuire; his siblings' children, Dr. Renee Tate, Mariel Murphy (Brian) and Keith Tate (Karen); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brendan Tate, Elliot Anderson, Jack Murphy, Avi, Emilia Tate, Maeve and Harper Murphy.
